Things become obsolete so fast, you wonder why the Apple engineers don't think a little more before racing something into production.
Take the whole System Enabler fiasco. For an entire generation of the OS, from 7.0 up to (but not including) 7.5, Apple shipped this hodge-podge scheme called "System Enablers." What a crock - badly designed, badly named, badly implemented. The engineers responsible for this should be ashamed of themselves.
